Culture[]
Lorelei has a strong tradition of folk music, widely performed both in private homes and on the ubiquitous folk fairs that happen regular all over the place. The local folk-pop band 'Homestead' is quite popular across the Empire.
Loreller food is simple, hearty and comes in big portions - venison and charcuterie is renowned all throughout the empire.
But the main export of Lorelei is Schnapps - fruit of all kind are fermented and destilled in countless ways. Loreller Schnaps and cider are well known and beloved all over the Empire.
Hunting is a big part of Lorelei culture, and the local craftsmen have perfected the skill of turning leather and natural materials into personal armor that is at the same time handsome and highly effective.

- Of the countless Schützenfests, the ones in Backlandringen, Vorderalmberg and Maritzburg are the most popular. Also, the Schützenfest of th capital, with its traditional costumes and husband-carrying competitions is a major tourism draw, planetary as well as imperial.
