The Gregorian Letters are a set of missives attributed to Emperor Gregorius Quetzal, an oracle. Since his passing, these letters have popped up all across the Empire at seemingly random times and places. They invariably hold a brief instruction or a bit of information, either of which usually will seem random or useless, but will reveal itself to be crucial in the near future.
Historians assume that these letters are a means for Emperor Gregorius to continue his mission to put the empire onto a path of peace and prosperity, making sure individual events unfold they way they need to.

- All Gregorian Letters came in precious lilac envelopes with the Imperial Seal in metallic green lacquer.
- Some of them were delivered by messenger, others were found in absurd places. But even if they came into the hands of their finder seemingly by pure chance, they were all clearly addressed to their finders and carried information personally relevant to them.
